E' la prima volta che la generazione nipote del secondo dopoguerra vive così da vicino i lutti e l'atrocità della guerra. Non una vicinanza di spazio, ma di ''cultura''. L'Occidente si risveglia e guarda la conclusione di decenni di scontri aperti e nascosti, di dominanza e ribellioni. E si capisce tutto di più. E si ha paura. L'attacco all'Afghanistan e il timore che questa volta sia quella definitiva, quella delle armi nucleari. Un senso di impotenza. Come se tutti i dirtti civili conquistati non servissero a niente. I believe that together we remember September 11 and put to work especially because all the dramas that have been consumed before that fateful day and continued to be consumed later and still wear out, need to be destroyed. Then globalize the rights and opportunities, we grant to others the hope that we are not only for ourselves and for our capital, we give a sign di civiltà che non si nasconda dietro un sorriso di circostanza o ad una lacrima di coccodrillo che spesso chi ci guida non ha risparmiato, ma non per gli altri ma solo per se stesso. Cerchiamo di affermare con forza il passaggio dalla cultura del terrorismo e delle guerre a quella della solidarietà e della pace.
